the pollinators
nose deep in pockets of love
swimming in the light
One day in summer
when everything
has already been more than enough
the wild beds start
exploding open along the berm
of the sea; day after day
you sit near them; day after day
the honey keeps on coming
in the red cups and the bees
like amber drops roll
in the petals: there is no end,
believe me! to the inventions of summer,
to the happiness your body
is willing to bear.

in honor of world bee day-
tiny sips of nectar
straight from the heart

Almost every blossom in the world needs bees for pollination. Long live the pollinators, for without them, we would not be.

Bees... tumbling in ecstasy, I feel the same as I move from post to post, flower to flower, soaking up these gifts... sparking beauty all along the way... thank you Rebecca, with all my heart. XO
