light rains down on you
ripe fruit for your hearts longing
what do you ache for
life has asked for so much letting go
this long year of more solitude
then you may have required.
to see the golden transcendence of nature
once again create a house of light
such abandon
such pirouettes of grace
such willingness
in letting go and letting in.
nature-
once again making everything golden
within and without.
may autumn be a wild soul
filling fruit,
may your heart be filled
with light.

My aches are many! My longings are deep! What well holds them?

I ache to live fully between each breath. Asking for nothing more than this gift to be alive on this beautiful earth. I ache for us to live with each other as we were meant to live with respect and honor for all beings. I ache for those who are suffering and ask that beauty gently touch their/our hearts. Amen. Thank you Rebecca, for the gift of your love and welcoming arms to this circle of small words. XO

I ache mostly for our planet being destroyed. Here, we have lost 11 manatees since the end of September. Eleven!! The gentle giants are starving to death. I hope those "in charge" can find a solution. But...when I come here to your haiku room, I don't ache while I am here. There is always such beautiful light and love from you to all of us, and deposted by those who visit. Happy Autumn Rebecca.

"Well, my friends are gone and my hair is grey
I ache in the places where I used to play... " (Leonard Cohen) I love that line, but my friends are NOT gone. Some are right here in the haiku circle! Thanks for being here every friday my friend. Big hug from Holland
