embracing the world
one flaming heart at a time—
summer slips away


A powerful image and uplifting words. I'm a badly lapsed Catholic (left the church close to 40 years ago) but I still find beauty and inspiration in many of the concepts.


Oh that passion would ignite in our hearts instead of in the outer world... my prayer and thanks to you Rebecca for the beauty of sharing this image and your haiku, as well as Thoreau's wise words. Love to you sweet friend. XO
