even broken hearts
find solace floating weightless
in a sea of tears
do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world.
all things break.
and all things can be mended.
not with time, as they say,
but with intention.
so go.
love intentionally.
the broken world waits in darkness
for the light that is you.
L.R. Knost
a chance to float
together

The world is so full of broken hearts, but there is solace to be found. May you and I be bearers of that solace to the brokenhearted.

So much is broken in our world. We can't fix it all. We can only crawl into our blanket caves and hope. Your lovely petals are a beautiful blanket cave. Just feasting my eyes upon them brings the scent of peace to my soul.

Dear Rebecca, all of this touches me so deeply. Your haiku, Knost's poem, and memories of us gathered around this fountain of beauty. And I do see you on my doorstep, surrounded by Pink Ladies and your smile... wraps around me like the morning sun or stars and moon at night. XO
