haiku my heart

 

the way bright flowers

open at the curve of dawn

i fall into you

 

savoring,

willing to wake before dawn

allowing the lingering light to be central to every

thought, 

the way true friendship 

can fill a heart

over and over

no thought to the waning season

or the ever approaching autumn of our lives.
