half dressed and barefoot
i hurry to the garden
the sun is rising
love falls to the earth,
rises from the ground,
pools around the afflicted.
love pulls people
back to the feet.
bodies and souls are fed.
bones and lives heal.
new blades of grass grow from
charred soul.
the sun rises.
anne lamott
may love find you with every
step you take

I just did the same... and love that we greet the new day, this new beginning in the same way even though we stand barefooted in different places and with love in our hearts. Thank you my friend for these Friday words of heart and soul. XOXOXO
