once empty now full
a heart of love never fades
roses in the snow
dear hearts,
the soft reflection of christmas lights
across the chill of dark mountains
brightens my heart like burst ropes
of stars. for so many of us home alone -
may our memories of
brighter days
be a warm brocade of love
sheltering our hearts with comfort and hope.
for now,
i bow to the pure gift of willingness
to open in trust and allow
life to enfold us
in ways brighter and more profound
than we could ever dream.
stay safe my friends and my your hearts
be light.
with love and gratitude,
xo
your light
shows the way

Through our love, may we all be roses in the snow of this world. Happiest of Christmases to all who have come here today!
Thanks, Rebecca, for providing a safe writing space week after week. May our haiku shine!
