so little, too long
turn toward, never away
new life from charred soil
love falls to the earth,
rises from the ground,
pools around the afflicted.
love pulls people back to their feet.
bodies and souls are fed.
bones and lives heal.
new blades of grass grow
from charred soil.
the sun rises.

hello my haiku hearts
we have to be the change we want to see in the world.
let's start with our
words, thoughts and actions.
let's begin with
acceptance, equality and justice,
but please let's not stop here-
there is an entire world to heal
with love.

Loving with you Rebecca. Planting my words in this charred soil, with every breath I take. Thank you for changing my life with your heart and love. May it ripple on. XO

Everyone.....needs to be the change. I am happy to say I have been walking in that direction already for a long time. But it takes two...or a village...or a world. Blessings to you and yours.

Hi, hi, good morning. Your agua de jamaica is the greatest. I have long felt that way but made it (yet again) during a long trip last fall to Guadalajara & every Jaliscience in the pensión: in a dead swoon 💥 ❤️
Thank you for yr pretty words, they were a sweet salve this morning x
