living with myself
a quiet conversation
staring at the moon
when i started haiku my heart
over ten years ago...
i was yearning for a gathering of hope,
encouragement, shelter.
a quiet welcoming far from
the busy world
where we could come together
in an honoring of friendship
through tiny holy words.
and while it is all
these things; and so much more-
i never imagined it would become
a coveted conversation
in a sea of aloneness.
alone together

The moon can be a pretty good conversationalist at times, especially when no one else is around. But I'm happy to join the weekly conversation in this holy place. I'm never disappointed by the offerings that are left here. Thank you, Rebecca, for opening your heart to us.

Having a conversation with the moon and with people across all borders... you are such a special woman and this is such a special place - thanks for being here Rebecca.

Like the cycles of the moon, each week we come and share and I am filled by what is offered here, in this place that is so dear to my heart. These haiku ripple out into the world... I believe seeding this planet with love and wonder and beauty, sometimes tears and sorrows, but all seeds of what it means to be human with a generous heart. Thank you Rebecca for this holy place and for your love and words that fill my heart and soul. I love you and our circle, dearly. XO

Not only a coveted conversation, but a coveted room to retreat to in this stressful world. We have you to thank for this peace. xoxo
