i bow in wonder
breathe impossibly blue skies
the first flood of light
before anything else...
place your heart in the arms of a tree
find the first flood of light,
allow the warmth to completely enter you
when thoughts begin to rise
like sap searching for a home-
become the wind and simply let go
feel the willing sky carry you-
the way your heart opens when birds sing,
breathe in the open air of acceptance.
witness the awakening all around you
how it feels to be alive, to greet this new day
to live life like a prayer-
begin there
love is the bridge between you
and everything.

I bow as well... to each new day, each moment of discovery of a piece of beauty waiting for our hearts to open. Thank you Rebecca and my haiku circle for the wonder you share. My arms raised like the trees... I let go to the winds of change...
