the beautiful sue fox
illuminated
darkness gives way to holy
this gathering light
dear spring,
how i savor each note of your glory song.
as the last cold stars of winter fade on the open palm of awakening;
all your warmth and beauty calls us out
into the gathering light.
i am swept away once more at your profound
ability to pluck the seeds of hope
from our darkest nights.
may all our sequestrating
strengthen the love that binds
us to each other
and to this beautiful earthly home.
stay safe my friends,
cultivate your bravest heart.
marvel as the earth heals
in our quiet absence.
tiny offerings
in the great current of love

Sooner or later darkness will yield to light. For the world's sake, may it be sooner!

I hope, I pray, that the earth will heal as we leave it alone for awhile. But I am a skeptic and I know there are those who will go right back and destroy the healed places. I pray they will stop and think. Just stop....and think.
Thank you for being here for all of us Rebecca. I wish you to heal right along with our Mother Earth.

While in lockdown, I see the big oak getting green.. little, young, green leaves where the sun shines through... I watch it from my balcony and hope the world will get as fresh as that old oak tree...happy Easter Rebecca, stay safe!

If there were no darkness, how would we appreciate the light?
