yes, to love fiercely
this fleeting moment of time
joy gratitude grace
to love someone fiercely,
to believe in something with all your whole heart,
to celebrate a fleeting moment in time,
to fully engage in a life that doesn't come with guarantees-
these are the risks that involve vulnerability and often pain.
but i'm learning that recognizing and leaning into
the discomfort of vulnerability
teaches us how to live with joy,
gratitude, and grace.

Love comes into this room and fills the space, and those that enter take with them a heart full of it, to hold dear until the next visit. Happy happy day to you and yours Rebecca.

Your picture and haiku call to mind the beauty of first love and those Valentine's days that follow and then there is "true love." As always you write with such love and joy *(just as you shared with us.) So Happy Valentine's Day!

Every passing moment is a reminder of the fleetingness of time. The only thing to do is follow the ancient wisdom: "Carpe diem!"
