to choose willingly
love kindness true compassion
without exception
haiku-salutations of nature,
nods to changing seasons.
the essence of the natural world conveyed
in seventeen syllables.
an intimate homage of love
to the world we share.
this morning my haiku
speaks to the nature of our humanness.
nothing can stop us from loving each other.
nothing can prevent kindness.
we can always
choose love.
love is the bridge between you
and everything.
