haiku my heart

 

cathedral of light

large and charitable sky

love is everything

 

there are so many ways we mark our circles

round the sun.

the changing seasons, cycles of the moon, tides waxing and waning.

for some eternity seems to stretch comfortably into forever,

others stand in awe grateful for one more moment.

the truth is no one knows.

so dance.

laugh.

cultivate compassion.

forgive.

encourage.

be a true caretaker of the earth.

live respectfully and love fiercely.

in the end all that remains, all that ever was,

all that waits and forever arrives-

is love.
