both in its absence
and in its sweet returning
the kiss of sunrise
the sun
have you ever seen
anything
in your life
more wonderful
than the way the sun,
very evening,
relaxed and easy
floats toward the horizon
and into the clouds or the hills,
or the rumpled sea
and is gone-
and how it slides again
out of the blackness,
every morning,
on the other side of the world,
like a red flower......

The sunrise is always with me, whether I can see it or not. It's an inner, more than an outer, thing. (I think.)

It is such a kiss... this red flower of new beginnings. Like the memory of your hugs and the way, your eyes twinkle into mine... blooms of the sky and heart that I never take for granted... XO

We had 'sahara sand' blowing in last week, which made the sunset turn into a marvelous-red-purple flashing and 'burning' sky... I've never seen skies more beautiful... isn't nature amazing?! Enjoy your weekend dear, love from Holland
