pollen falls like stars
far across the flower fields
knee deep in holy
on fridays we gather-
a wild collection of rogue flowers
sweetening the landscape of each others lives.
always willing to strip off the superfluous,
embrace the brightest essence of expression,
visit each other with a
passion
and lie in wait for the next friday
to bloom all over again.
small words
swimming in the light.

Unless you are in the South. Then, pollen? Omigoodness.
