twelve days of mother love

 

 

 for some she appears across blue lakes,

 scorched on a burnt tortilla, a water stain beneath some distant bridge, 

in a soft white cloud floating on a pure vault sky,

 inside the open heart of a ripe papaya,

within the blue green

sheath of humble agave. 

for others

she is the wisdom and mother love we look for

in the eyes of every woman we know.

in the heart of everyone

we meet.

 

 

 

 

thank you dear friends.

to begin and end each day together has been a bright blessing.

such a welcome pause,

 this stirring of hearts, this tending of grace.

 

together we have turned our intentions to

peace, beauty, tenderness and light.

i have cherished every step in 

our twelve days of mother love;

thank you for sharing yours.
