this breath is on loan
borrowed but so exquisite
listening to doves cry
we don't mourn artists we've never met
because we knew them,
we mourn them because they helped us
know ourselves.
xo
thank you prince
small words swimming
in the light

I had a deep connection with Prince that is a long story... so he was dear to my heart even though we had never met... I saw him today as a super nova star, shining down on us all... I wish I had a raspberry beret to wear... perhaps I will wear it in my imagination anyways. How grateful I am for this loan of life and sharing this circle with you Rebecca and everyone who circles with us... XO

With borrowed breath, may we all cry out praises night and day. Thank you for this exquisite haiku. (I'll be back to link a little later.)

And so I heard to dove in the back this morning after I had read your beautiful haiku, and I sighed. It is wonderful! Thank you and have a grand weekend!

Lovely, Rebecca. We are all on borrowed breath, and never know when it is to be returned.

I don't seem to be getting your posts; I know not why. I came here from another blog site. So good to be here. He had several songs that touched me. He will be missed.
