roses defying snow.  joy born from the

simplest moments.

a scattering of birds, stars, a single candle in the window of love.

i believe in looking into the heart of each person

and choosing love.

i am certain things are not always as they seem,

that there is more to the story

of every single person we meet.

so i choose

peace, understanding, acceptance.

i choose to look into the eyes of each face and see

soul.

i choose roses in the snow.

today is the feast day of our lady of guadalupe.

may the friendship and reflection

shared so generously

leading to her day of honor

swirl in our hearts forever

as a constellation of mother love.

together we have turned our intentions to

inclusion, beauty, tenderness and love.

i have cherished every shared step,

each salutation and offering have been heartfelt,

generous; filled with promise and friendship.

i am so grateful for your place in my heart.

i am especially grateful for beginning and ending each day in peace.

thank you for this precious mary walk.
