light seeks each of us
sews us seamlessly as one
sacred woven cloth
at night we close our eyes to sleep,
and all our differences fade away.
from a distance
it is impossible to know where one heart ends
and the next begins;
our dreaming selves love so freely
we are stars
lighting each others way.
when morning finds us
we each place our feet on the floor of dawn
and walk towards the light.
true awakening
resides in the heart of every moment
we allow ourselves to
meet again as one.

Dear Rebecca, I wrote my haiku for this Friday before reading your words... they are one and the same. I so love the synchronicity of our hearts! Travel well. I know it will be such a wonderful time. Hugs to you... they linger there you know, every step of the way... xo
