when haiku arrives
i rise up from quiet dreams
drink deep from small cups
how i love fridays knowing i will
sit quietly and drink deeply from your offerings.
your presence opens the day like spring flowers,
so full of beauty, so rich in meaning,
so generously coloring our world.
thank you for your forever place in
xo

I too... so love our Friday circle... and to sip these words of love with you... warms my heart and kindles a spark to live life from the depth my being. Thank you Rebecca for this love. XO

Friday can never come soon enough for me, not because it's the last day of the workweek, but because it's the day when haiku hearts gather to share what their muses have inspired in them!

Beautiful words, Rebecca.

I eagerly anticipate the offerings of the day, too. It is such a pleasure to read the gentility, tenderness and sometimes the humor in the words. Often there is one that causes me to pause and reflect on the words. Wishing you well!!!

ah, how I love to drink from the way you weave words together-
Speaking of drinking Daughter took Youngest Son and me to a Japanese restaurant for our birthdays. We partook of warm sake- yum, but now I want the graceful and lovely cups and bottle. We had such a good time being together and enjoyed the delicious food.
