the gold thread of dawn
arrives with wings of finches
stars become flowers
welcome to this bright new day
where side by side
sunflowers are laying down the darkness
and holding up the light.
i hope you will visit each each other
with a passion
and leave a love note along the way!

Oh, dear sunflowers, keep laying down the darkness, and keep holding up the light! Our world so desperately needs light right now!

Beautiful thoughts and images Rebecca. I have been mixed up on the days, as we had been traveling, thus the extra message yesterday and a repeat of the post link. I do hope you are well, enjoying these golden days.

Having spent the past 2 weeks in Paris, with one day in the Normandy region, the one thing I missed seeing was sunflowers (no doubt blooming profusely all over the south of France but not where I was), so these photos are extra special to me! Thank you for holding up the light for us to find here each Friday, Rebecca.

I love how I feel whenever I spy one of these delightfully sun-filled birds sitting at my feeder. And sunflowers too make me grin with joy!
