swimming in the light
love lifts the edge of heaven
souls slip through like clouds
last night, air warming up
with the low drone of bullfrogs
on edges of the moon drenched ponds,
love stirred our dreams.
and this dawn,
this bright chance of awakening.
as the last stars bowed to the light of a new day,
night's soul humming passed their steady refrain
to the lips of flowers;
rejoice
rejoice in each holy second
never hold back.
thank you for your place in the haiku choir.
please do take time to
visit each offering and leave a love note at every stop.
it's as sweet as a lullaby, as vital as pollen,
nectar to each soul;
to be seen,
to be heard, to be acknowledged.

Sometimes souls slip so quickly, it's hard to catch a glimpse of them!

The rich blue of the flower swims out of the picture as brightly as your words.

Still not much "air warming up" here in the North (single digits overnight, frost warnings - nooooo!) so finding this haiku did a lot to warm my heart, dear Rebecca! xo
