in the morning light
wings paint the edge of heaven
then become the sky
i slept with the windows open so
spring could find me early.
such a kind awakening;
stirred, not shaken into the song of life!
five steps
from my doorway
the ponds are coming alive.
the true harbinger of spring returns
on enormous blue wings;
as loyal as each of you
dressed in your finest morning haiku!

To see this...while rolling over in bed...delightFULL!
yes yes to all signs of spring
trying not to get down with the forecast of 5" of snow on Sunday...this too shall pass.

Edge of heaven could also be a foretaste of it.

May your day be full of heart and love and the flutter of Spring wings... your haiku gives me all over chills each time I read it... beautiful, as are you! XOXOXO
