home from the heartland
love weaves humble into gold
gathering the light
dear hearts,
we arrived home just after midnight
to a swirling snow and the soft reflection of christmas lights
across the chill of dark mountains.
it was easy to sleep in,
dreams of moments shared in san miguel
brightening our heart like burst ropes
of stars.
it will take a while to unravel the brocade of love,
woven on a loom of bright friendship.
for now,
i bow to the pure gift of willingness
to open in trust and allow
life to enfold us
in ways brighter and more profound
than we could even dream of or hope for ourselves.
grateful to be here and share the light.

Welcome home! Because I thought you were still in San Miguel, I invited several from last week to link to the old Linky. Some did. Oh, well...
