I just adore this post of yours and your term 'bride to life' - I often quote it <3

this is so fitting for our parish church because we are in the midst of 40 Hours whereas we have a visiting priest speaking each night (from Sunday thru Thursday)!

I adore the work of John O'Donohue, a man who left us far too early, but his words speak deeply to me today as a wrestle with some very bad stuff happening to people I love over which I have absolutely no control. Have you heard of the work of Elaine Aron and the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)?
FOrtunately, she provides the tools to help sensitive people navigate the peaks and valleys of life. I am grateful for this day and for you, Rebecca, and for all the other sensitive people who come to post here. You bring meaning to these 12 days of Advent while the rest of us wriggle ourselves busily through the prep for Christmas.

Yes. I do. I will. Give myself to life, even if I am late, broken, tiny dots of light in the evening shadows... I will come to the feast of life... XO
