i imagine there are as many reasons to place paint on canvas
as there are birds lifting the dark curtain of night
to the promise of a new day.
for me,
it is as much a calling forth as it is a letting go.
a chance for every cell in my body to awaken in profound revelation.
the way children leap, run, dance seemingly fly unabashed
in the freedom and ease of their physical existance;
i stand before the canvas
and loose myself in spontaneous joy.
it is here,
a sense of wholeness replaces my physical reality.
my attention dives into the blue realm of infinite possibilities;
and suddenly i am
a thousand birds singing in a new dawn,
a bell that has waited my whole life to ring out.
in a world i struggle to navigate even the simplest movements;
through flora bowley's
i am connected to expressive hearts from all over the world.
together;
we strengthen our unique voices telling
our creation stories in new found courage and trust
as we journey
five soul stirring weeks under the wing of a creative visionary.
for me
bloom true and flora bowley
have been life changing.
no matter how constrained my physical world becomes,
i know freedom and wholeness are mine forever;
as i am reborn in beauty and possibility
in a world of colour, mystery, texture, trust
and the language of paint.
i am one thousand birds singing in a new dawn,
a bell that has waited my whole life
to ring out.
i hope you will join me september 30
for flora's
and find the story that is waiting to be born
through you.
What a joyous and beautiful chatter your multitude of wings make!
Big, big love to you, Beautiful One.
