On the fifth day of December Mary met Albert Einstein and they discussed
the relativity of miracles.
"There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though
everything is a miracle."
Albert Einstein
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true art and all science.
He to whom this emotion is a stranger,
who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe,
is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
albert einstein
mary didn't need to say a word, she was all wrapped up in
the art of love.
today may your world be filled with simple miracles,
may you believe and be nurtured by each one.

Oh, how this made me laugh gleefully! This is something I would have and probably keep up all year!!
I love that Einstein quote and, indeed agree that everything - everything - is a miracle.

Ha! The Virgin of Guadalupe on the cow belly! I remember seeing this for the first time when we visited Oaxaca, and what a surprise it was! So wonderful to see it again for a touch of glee this morning... wrapped up in total awe.

OMG I have seen a lot of public cow art, but never this. Love it.

this is a shrine very close to my heart. I have never seen it before. I am a vegetarian and the plight of farmed animals are something that I am very serious about. It is also noteworthy that the cow is sacred in Hinduism and also in other older cultures that no longer exist - the cow is often regarded as a symbol of the Mother. thank you for sharing this today

Talk about humor and whimsy! I love this cow. Was this something you saw locally or at San Miguel?

I love the cow!

incredibly different from any I've ever seen! I like what judie shared about the cow's being a symbol for mother.
You blow me over with your stories, and I especially love Einstein's quotes.

I love this art! And as for Hettienne's comment about cows and Divine Mother, Hathor's ears are cow ears.
