I just adore John O'Donohue. I have some of his books on audiotape and when I went through a very dark night of the soul, his voice kept me company and carried me on wings of hope.

...the mind of the day and the wisdom of the soul become one.

I love the concept of "the secret work" that O'Donohue speaks of...I have been striving to be more aware of the grace and miracles around us all the time, and to stay in that place of gratitude and love. I so appreciate your posts about Mary these past ten days, the bringing of everyone together, and the depth with which you share.

You always feed the soul, Rebecca. Sometimes with something I've never seen and sometimes it is just a gentle reminder. But it is always needed and appreciated. ♥♥♥

Lovely post!

So eloquent. So beautiful, these words and images! I agree, you you quite the knack for feeding the soul-such bright light that shines forth from within you!

I agree with Lisa. Always inspiring and straight to the heart. Thank you. Have a wonderful week.:)

You always have wonderful messages. Today's message about love is a hard lesson to learn.

I was just reading O'Donohue last night. I still can't believe he is gone so young. Thanks so much for hosting us here, Rebecca. Advent is more meaningful to me because of the focus it takes to make the Mary art or find something personally meaningful to post. I bet you are really busy in the studio with Christmas so close.

This 12 Days has been God-sent, or perhaps Mary-sent, for me. I am so grateful for you and the other devotees to provide medicine for my heart and soul

Found out that my dear friend Ninnie who has suffered with breast cancer died this morning peacefully. How true are your words of being betrothed to the unknown.

Wonderful post and photography again ~ lots of special energy whirling around ~ grateful ~ sometimes hard to keep up with ~ blessings to you ~

I have to confess that it was hard for me to notice the holiness in this day because of the living hell that an emotionally disturbed student put me through. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. I hope so!

Today's image of the folded hands is a knockout. At the "broken"wrists the red appears like blood, making the image even more powerful than it was intended to be. Thank you for this image, Rebecca!!!
