when haiku arrives
i rise up, from quiet dreams
drink deep, from small cups
bright clever wordsmiths
two full circles round the sun
haiku forever

sweet mercy,
we are two full years of fridays together
casting away all but the heart of a perfect seed,
carving down to bare bones,
bonsai pruning, grain threshing, distillers of soul.
gathering each friday to fill each others cup.
please, let's never stop
visiting each other with a vengeance, leaving comments with a passion.
i knew there would be beauty,
but you have all transcended my wildest dreams,
and in all this sweet sharing,
created a family.
