mariposa mosaic windows
cathedral and dichroic glass, adhesive and grout
fragments of precious glass
rattling around in an old cigar box.
once broken, made whole.
once quiet now singing in the light.
once forgotten, resurrected with love;
four small windows for my mother's front door.
saluations of joy for all her coming and going.
sometimes we are nothing more
than cupped hands at dawn
hoping to catch the light
a chance to gather snippets of heaven and earth
a visual feast of your world
up close and personal
an invitation to visit others sacred ordinary,
leave a word of kindness at every stop,
to walk a world labyrinth
in the art of seeing.
sundays at
where has paradise taken you?
I love the way you are able to take bits and pieces and create wondrous works of art.

They look as if they could fly on a moonbeam or a sun ray. I will be gone for a week so I will think of you and wish you all the Light that one can hold. Be well, take care of yourself, you bring beauty, that is truly of value and important.

Gorgeous color in your butterfly windows, Rebecca!!!
I have shared my backyard sanctuary again this week, having added a few more of my Madonna. Hope the fires in Arizona are not near you or affecting your health. Love, Laurie

Haven't had chance to visit paradise until today, but what a lovely way to brighten up my Monday morning, I love catching the light with you and of course my favourite has to be number four, for where would we be without the shadows!
