a Tale of Pozos
Rebecca is off once again to San Miguel...
she asked that I share with you images of my trip with her a couple of years ago...
this is the story that unfolded from this special place,
'the ghost town school' in Mineral de Pozos...
The silent doorway beckons
a story surely there, if only one listens deeply.
Lives lived, laughter rings out, children running up and down those now lonely steps
looking out upon the rural landscape.
Faces lining the wide windows...tell us your stories.
We care, we will listen
Moonlight now plays off the old stone, patina of time grace the walls.
Graffiti of a new generation leave their mark.
Talk to us, we will listen and hold you near.
stories continue to unfold and unfurl themselves to me
from this magical place.
What new stories will come back with Rebecca
and her adventurous travelers?

I love the photographs you taken and how you've altered them.

These images are beautiful in themselves, the added layers combine one story with another.
Looking forward to even more stories.......
