san miguel
all you really have to do is show up;
mexico will dazzle all your senses
with every turn of the road.
for semana santa
even brown paper bags
folded themselves reverently into
towering
angels and magnificent marys.
once i met the artist behind the paper
i knew i had to include him
in our upcoming
folkart tour.
so if you come along
you too will learn the
holiness of paper.
where has paradise taken you???

"The holiness of paper", wow! I hold a great reverence for paper myself, ever since I was 13 and my father brought home an old ledger as a gift. I haven't stopped writing.

I know it won't be possible this year, but I can dream, can't I? One more year to work and then my life won't revolve so much around the academic calendar.
