el troubador de campo
serenades the night
yet some indelible part of each of us
remains in the world
that never hurries.
thank you for being here even while i
danced in the campo.

I have awakened from a nightmare, from the most unimaginable horror, to find el trobador to sing me back to sleep. Muchas gracias, mi trobador! Muchas gracias!

I love the motion in the first picture, you caught him as he was turning his face to you.
Perfect little haiku.

Hi Rebecca,
What a treat to visit you this morning! Looking into the troubador's eyes, I feel that I "know" him. Your awesome picture and words bring his musical soul to life! Have a blessed Friday, Rebecca!

I always write my haiku earlier in the week so I never look at the theme... this time, we must have had a special connection Rebecca! I love your trobador and I can almost hear his serenade!

The first thing I looked at in the photograph were the troubadour's feet. I wanted to see if he was standing on the cobblestones. You mention the cobblestones often, so I look for them in all of your San Miguel photos.
I can hear his songs. I am glad you had a great time and had another wonderful visit to Mexico. Next time, I think I'll join you.
I love the Haiku, and I love the sharing that goes on each week here at recuerda mi corazon.
Peace to all

Thank you, Beautiful Friend, for all you bring to the world.
Happy Friday and gentle landings to you !
