i believe in miracles
tiny, intimate miracles of
awakening
where the hand that sets that golden wheel in motion
may be as simple
as a vital story of a loved one shared.
sweep your heart away miracles
where one life inspires the next
and it is impossible to know where one soul ends,
and the next begins.
the circle of sharing extending out over generations
to converge unbroken, crossing even the farthest shoreline
separating the living from the dead.
like e.b.'s butterfly born again in the waiting chrysalis
and every spark of love from all the stories of remembering
we have been sharing this month of october
of our beloved family members.
miracles.
messages from our departed loves ones
to be present, open hearted,
to listen, care, respond, live boldly,
bloom true.
i cannot thank you enough for each of
your glorious stories. breathing life into those gone,
with each remembrance, as they in turn
enrich our lives with
hope, humor, boldness, commonality and courage.
see you next sunday for the final art of remembering.
we hope you will join us
nov. 1 & 2
the honor of hosting
dia de bloglandia.
More and more I'm convinced that there's not much separating the living from the dead. (Maybe it's because I'm getting closer...)

I just love this phrase: i love huge
sweep your heart away miracles
where one life inspires the next
and it is impossible to know where one soul ends,
and the next begins.
Later, after church, my class at church, and the art show, I'll visit and see what is happening.

Beautiful post Rebecca. I agree with Dawn. Wish I could have been a participant today but there is so much going on right now I just haven't had the time. I always remember though. Wonderful post.

I came back because I wanted to be a part of this and didn't want to let the day go without posting something. I did post a previous post from a while ago and it is fitting to be remembering friends from the past during this coming event. Take care.

It is hard to believe that next Sunday marks the conclusion of these series of posts. It seems we just got started.
Thank you Rebecca and all of you for showing me a more constructive way to remember ones I've lost.
