I will tell you where I was 39 years ago today....giving birth to my one and only beloved son.He came early as a surprise and a a gift. Tiny, so tiny he was because of his early entrance. He now stand over 6 ft. tall..a big man with a big heart who grew up as an only child , then adopted two boys of his very own, raised them on his own.Well, maybe a few words of guidance from me now and then.He now takes care of many others through the Laborers Union in a faraway desert state. This day has made me smile for 39 years and will continue to light up my heart until my heart is still forever.

Wings, always wings, taking fly to places in the Universe that exist only in our hearts. What would we be without our wings? Icarus of dreams we know never to be too close to reality's sun. And we carefully fold our wings to keep under those who are our reasons to be. But what am I saying? You know this, oh yes you do.

You are always, always, so inspired and inspiring. Thank you, again.

No matter the weight of constraint, you always inspire to higher places of seeing and being. To witness the oneness of your loving relationship is so beautiful.

A union, a silver bird, each wing pulling and supporting one another, what more could marriage and friendship be.....you are blessed to be as one. Would that I could meet you both....love sharon

Ah, My Dear Rebecca,
I read my original response to this and I hardly knew you then as I do now. How much better it is to read this again, loving you dear friend as I do. I can do nothing more this time around than offer this wonderful rumi poem, so fitting to the sacred experience you share:
xoxo,
Noelle

THAT LIVES IN US

If you put your hands on this oar with me,
they will never harm another, and they will come to find
they hold everything you want.

If you put your hands on this oar with me, they would no longer
lift anything to your
mouth that might wound your precious land –
that sacred earth that is your body.

If you put your soul against this oar with me,
the power that made the universe will enter your sinew
from a source not outside your limbs, but from a holy realm
that lives in us.

Exuberant is existence, time a husk.
When the moment cracks open, ecstasy leaps out and devours space;
love goes mad with the blessings, like my words give.

Why lay yourself on the torturer’s rack of the past and the future?
The mind that tries to shape tomorrow beyond its capacities
will find no rest.

Be kind to yourself, dear – to our innocent follies.
Forget any sounds or touch you knew that did not help you dance.
You will come to see that all evolves us.
