I've joined you in posting a white flower. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

Thank you Rebecca, for this post, but mostly for your freindship, the kind words, the poetic voice you send towards everyone, the connections you've sent me to, and journeys you've sent me on, to meet such a plethora of creative souls, sharing yours with us all.
No white flowers, yet a sea of white out my window, as a blanket of frozen water of protection so the white flowers can grow again soon.
Peace, love and hugs to you. Prayers sent your way for all the healing you might need and always a wish for Peace, Always.

Thank you for the gift of this poem. I love Mary Oliver, and appreciate you sharing this poem that I'ver never seen before. Blessings to you.

Go for it, Rebecca. Link 'em up. The white chain seems to be bursting with blooms.

It is the first time that I have seen this one as well. It is exquisitely beautiful, but I cannot help wondering where your thoughts were on this day when you speak of the experience of "little deaths." What sharpened awakening had you felt my dear and were you alone? I hope that it was a feeling of connection rather than loss. The poem offers such a beautiful and peaceful connection with the earth even at the thought of death. I hope that was your feeling too.

Very poetic! I love how you use words in expressing your thoughts!
