Seeing images of Mexico always pulls at my heart strings. These are lovely and in my mind i can smell it and on my skin I can feel it. Thank you.

How can I be so homesick for a place I've only visited? It is a mystery of my heart.

It's the colors of Mexico that wake up my soul! The reds, the yellows, the golds, the purples, the blues, the greens! Color, color, everywhere! A riot of colors! Blessed be the house that is painted in vibrant hues! Blessed be the painter and the beholder! Color my soul the colors of Mexico!

Beautiful Rebecca. I am so captivated with the colors. I feel generated when I come to your blog with all the vibrancy you provide us with and Stephanie too. It's like I'm in another world. Thank you so much. Oh by the way, I've been working on my first painting for January 1. I try to do a new painting right at the beginning of the year/each year. This time since I didn't join in the Saint a day, I've been painting Our Lady of Guadalupe and I will be posting her on the 1st. of January so that she will be watchful over all of us. Thank you for the photos and lovely words. Have a great week.

This post absolutely GLOWS! I am bathed in the warmth and light... All best wishes to you, dear friend. Thank you many times over for your lovely words and images throughout the year.

Breathtakingly beautiful. I am enamored by the golden light of the sacred that casts its glow on all creation in that land. Here is a quote by Octavio Paz, which I find so important and I am sure you know.
Love to you ~ Noelle

“What sets worlds in motion is the interplay of differences, their attractions and repulsions.

Life is plurality, death is uniformity.

By suppressing differences and pecularities, by eliminating different civilizations and cultures, progress weakens life and favors death.

The ideal of a single civilization for everyone, implicit in the cult of progress and technique, impoverishes and mutilates us.

Every view of the world that becomes extinct, every culture that disappears, diminishes a possibility of life”
~Octavio Paz
