has swept me away....
simply
paper, flour, water and time...
old music sheets and vintage wallpaper
time, hands and quiet reflection
and the strength that comes from waiting
paper traced with a million finger prints of being present
transformed into a usable form.
what is not there, as important
as what is.
seeing the dark, seeking the light
there is nothing to do
but tear the one million
buttercream memories into tiny wings
tiny wings..

there is something consoling about such simplicity
