my heart is orphaned
gone...a million things leave no trace
oh this mourning rain
***
this might sound strange
but i feel ignited,
distilled, raw, riveted on the miracle of life.
i have spent these last days outside, close to the earth.
holding the tender fingers of spring.
gathering fallen decaying leaves from winters storms
as my husband forms monet style compost stacks,
everywhere the promise of
rebirth.
all the while my heart expanding with the current of the world
to assuage the souls of japan.
all the while the small incidentals of life blowing away,
away from this call out to live life fiercely,
to love enormously.
to wrap the branches of spring around a heart rock
and stand in silent witness, each new day, under a shared sky
on this spinning earth and love even more.
this earth, each person,
every opportunity to share
the miracle of it all.

Dear Rebecca, "mourning rain for a million things lost. Our hearts are orphaned." This is an incredibly moving haiku, making us perceive the enormous loss for which we mourn. THe gesture of a collection jar is wonderful, and I will join. Thank you. Love

Hello my friend. Thank you for making me SEE. I have been missing the trials and tribulations of Japan, and will be donating part of my next doll sale.
Hope you have a lovely Friday dear Rebecca.

News comes family's safe
As I let go long-held breath
Still I weep for loss
I know Japan's resilience and grace, just wish it weren't tested so; cannot get my head around the devastation, am haunted and trying to get some productive thought going...

Good evening, Rebecca. Just can't seem to get my mind off Japan. I think this is a good thing.

Dearest Rebecca,
Thank you so much for your love and support. I am holding Japan in the Light. I have changed to a gentler picture than yesterday's post, but with the same message.
Love and Peace,
Noelle

We are trying to send One Shelterbox over to Japan. The cost is $1,000. That is our goal. Dear friends, if your hearts are with us, it will take no time at all to raise such funds!
xoxo,
Noelle

My prayers for Japan as always, and also for all the people who lost their lives in the Christchurch earthquake. A National memorial service was held for them today.

One hurts, we all hurt,
One's heart is lifted, we're all lifted!
I heard your call to live life fiercely, I saw on screen the new '3D Lord of the Dance' Michael Flately yesterday, St Patrick's Day, it invigorated me, whilst holding them in prayer I'm dancing with life!

Always a J O Y to embrace your words Dear Rebecca, leaving me the feeling of peace and ethereal silence.
I keep mindful of two things. Prayers of blessing for ALL who suffer and thanksgiving for ALL the beautiful things that are happening at this same moment.
Love to you.
Thinking of you with a smile in my heart~

hello rebecca, the devastation is indeed overwhelming, an orphaned heart speaks well of what one feels watching japan survive the what appears unsurvivible... the moments here are unreal even the smallest of luxuries--heat, electricity, food... how can this be lord??... i too love to collect heart-shaped rocks... never thought to go that big... and entwined in a tree... heavenly... and the crocus are up too.. feeling released and ready to dig

Hello Rebecca..
Oh, I am so happy to see your comment..on my page.. you know after reading the emotions and feelings with which your page is generally spread, inspiration is so overwhelming that you keep me thinking and I run to pickup pen and paper to write whatever comes to mind.. and trust me it happens so spontaneously .. perhaps in this hurry I miss speaking to you here... actually you are among those who do what I have so often expressed on my page:
PRACTICE HAPPINESS!!!
MAY YOU CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD ON YOUR PATH AS A BEACON OF LIGHT ILLUMINATING THE DARKENED CORNERS OF INNER SPACES OF ALL THOSE WHO VISIT THIS WONDERFULLY CREATED AND BLESSED PAGE..
and yes all is well..somehow I like to take life as it comes.. and consider that pain does not mean unhappiness.. it is a part of the flow.. comes and goes.. we all are so humane capable of creating discomforts for us occasionally..ha,ha, see you inspired now too... God Bless!!
