Dearest Rebecca,
I was just about to visit Elizabeth's blog when I came over to yours. She had visited mine. I am amazed at these beautiful images, their tenderness and grace. The poem you have here is one of my favorites and was on my blog not so long ago. I love that we have such similar minds. The simplest gestures do have profound meaning. For the first time in several years, since my mom died, I was among friends at Christmas last night. No presents, just the loving embrace of people who cared enough that I not be alone. I was told that I was a gift. That was my Christmas miracle.
Love,
Noelle

Elizabeth

I'll be back when I've collected myself enough to type -- and think. Until then, Rebecca, what can I say to thank you?

Ms. Moon

Such beauty. Every day. I am grateful for Elizabeth and Sophie's presence on my earth. And yours too. Yours too.

Miss Robyn

the day after Christmas and the next for me has been filled with melancholy.. a small dark night of my soul. for many reasons. the poem is perfect, thankyou

I'm up in the midle of the night and wandered to some blogs of friends. I saw a link to your blog somewhere else heralding that there was a theme meme going on here. I guess I remember that we might keep the Virgin Business going, but forgot what day it is with all the Christmas stuff stressing me out.
Anyway, I was going to stop by sooner or later. Glad I did. I visited Elizabeth's blog. I'll do my form of origami for them in the next Sweat Lodge which will be on New Years Eve up along the big lake.
I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm up and alone in a big house or what, but I'm feeling a bit out of place amongst all these women who seem to know every poet, poem and each other. I try to get a handle on it all, but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to sit at the computer and read every post, although I can see the value of doing so.

Peace

Boonie

Thank you for this prayer of a posting. It is so tender and full. I loved those photos, too. They have a bond like no other, those two beauties. It is a hard road, but it is paved with love.
God bless you, and Happy New Year.
