come away with me....
this is what i am drawn to
seeker that i am,
to the heart of each moment.
the sacred,
hidden somewhere in the ordinary.
the eternal conviction
that we are all
inextricably bound to each other.
the belief that divinity resides
in each of us,
and the honest desire to coax it out
of each fleeting moment.
come away with me
San Miguel de Allende
Semana Santa
march 30-april 9, 2012
you may know by now
that i am head over heels in LOVE with mexico.
i began traveling through the interior,
indigenous and richly traditional areas extensively by the age of sixteen.
my love and admiration have grown with each return.
mexico permanently resides in my heart,
continually influences my art,
richly enhances my life experience.
many years ago i began bringing
small groups to share my passion
for this soul stirring country.
i collect "souls" that fit together in a rich tapestry
of shared appreciation for diverse cultures, folk art,
traditional celebrations, charm and verve!
holy week in San Miguel de Allende.
one of the most mystical times
of the entire year
to walk the ancient cobblestones.
together we will navigate rituals and traditions
that date back over six hundred years
and enjoy the charm that is always
San Miguel de Allende!
Hello Rebecca
Ever since I have read this invitation here, I have been dwelling on the possibility of attending the samana santa 2012 with you! and then you invited me to your share a virgin for a week blog and then my mind is made up : I am coming along and I will probably bring my mother along as well. Please send me all the necessary details. I will be flying in from South Africa.

Rebecca, I have gone to the two links but they don't give details for 2012. Can you tell me how I get more information regarding dates, prices, etc. I am 74, though quite active. Would I be able to handle this?
